The Arsenal have confirmed via their official website, Arsenal.com, that current manager Arsene Wenger will stay at the club for another three years after signing a three-year contract extension to June 2014.
Arsene Wenger is currently the longest serving Arsenal manager, having been at the North London club for about 14 years to date. The Frenchman has brought numerous domestic titles for the Arsenal, taking the club to the top of the English Premier League on three occasions, winning the FA Cup on four occasions and bringing the club to the Champions League finals in 2006 albeit being the losing finalist.

Upon his new contract extension, Wenger said:
"My heart belongs to Arsenal and my desire is to see this team win silverware."
Wenger also re-iterated his committment on the beautiful game, saying:
“My commitment and drive are as strong and fresh as ever. Signing a new deal means that I can see this talented group of players reach their potential. Trust me, they are ready to deliver.
He further added:
“With my staff and players we are in front of an exciting challenge and we are looking forward to achieving much success.”
Despite Wenger's good record, the Arsenal have not been able to win any trophy under the Frenchman for five seasons already. There are sections of the Arsenal fans who "want him out" as they probably are fed up with Wenger's lack of transfer activity and reluctance to bring in good (and probably big) signings, instead opting to sign up upcoming talents and nurture them into superstars.
Meanwhile, the Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood is no doubt in a jovial mood with Wenger signing on the dotted line on the contract extension as the Arsenal board has always wanted Arsene Wenger to stay on as manager. Hill-Wood said:
"We are thrilled that Arsène has signed an extension to his contract. He has masterfully transformed this football club over the last 14 years and the exciting and compelling football we play under his stewardship is admired the world over."
